Let's Get to Know One Another

Post  tsmack on Wed Apr 30, 2008 9:50 pm

How about a few scrapbooking questions to get to know one another a bit?

What are 5 products you can't live without?

What is your favorite subject to scrapbook?

What is your favorite new product or techique?

What size do you do most of your layouts?

Ok, about me.....

5 products I can't scrap without.
1) Basic Grey and American Crafts Paper
2) American Crafts Thickers
3) Heidi Swapp Bling
4) All the fancy Bazzill cardstock
5) my photos printed from scrapbookpictures.com (in all kinds of great sizes and finishes)

My favorite subject to scrapbook is my 2 1/2 year old son, although recently I did my first ever layout of a photo of my husband and I .

My favorite new products are Stickles and I am quite intrigued by RiffRaff Laser Cut Chipboard (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5662379). Hint, hint Robyn..... Laughing I have seen it finished with some neat products.

I usually do 12x12 layouts but as a challenge, I think I am going to try to do an album in 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock (as I almost always use patterned paper as the base) with patterned paper as the second layer. This will totally be stepping out of my comfort zone, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Ok, thats me.... Whose next?

My 2 cents.....

Post  support on Fri May 16, 2008 9:50 pm

Since I don't really scrapbook, but am constantly asked "how do you think this looks?", I figure I can put my 2 cents in for what I have seen going around my place.

What are 5 products you can't live without?
I think everything is used pretty well, but there is alot of cardstock, ink, stamps, adhesive tape, and cutters used.

What is your favorite subject to scrapbook?
The boys (I avoid the camera as much as Mamabub does, even though she likes to snap my picture.)

What is your favorite new product or techique?
I am starting to get the hang of the Silhouette (SP?)

What size do you do most of your layouts?
12x12 (but she stared doing 8.5x11)

Hope you all enjoy this. If it was about sailing...
